The New Veteran's War Memorial
The new Veteran's War Memorial, located on the west side of the Lafayette County Courthouse, is nearly complete. Appropriately, it will be dedicated on 11/11 at 11 a.m. -- the date and hour of the World War I Armistice.
Two of our faithful photographers caught the delicate business of putting the statuary in place, and the finished product. We think it is a worthy and fitting memorial to those who have served our country.
